Weng Chio Fan

Weng Chio Fan is in his final year of a Masters of Applied Psychology (Organisational and Industrial) at Murdoch University. With a desire to give back to the local community and make the best use of his psychology training, Weng volunteered in a gambling counseling centre in 2009 in which he helped facilitate group therapy. He was also a student mentor during his study at the Australian National Univeristy. After he graduated from the ANU, Weng was involved with Alzheimer’s Australia for a month where he provided them with administrative assistance. Most recently he was a crew member of a significant fundraising event for cancer research, ‘ride to conquer cancer’, in 2012.
