Sophie_Loras_Headshot.JPGSophie Loras is Asia Editor for global online digital marketing publication Based in Hong Kong, Sophie writes about emerging digital trends and evolving advertising and marketing technologies across the Asia Pacific region. In addition, she manages a network of regional industry leaders for expert opinion and advice. She also works closely with the business to drive brand strategy, and is the face of the organisation’s digital marketing conference series – ClickZ Live – in Hong Kong, Singapore, Jakarta, Shanghai, Bangkok and Mumbai. 

Sophie has a particular interest in Asia’s mobile first markets (specifically China, India and Southeast Asia) as they pave the way with new innovations in ecommerce, social commerce and multichannel marketing.

Prior to this, Sophie was the Managing Editor of Australia China Connections, a bi-monthly business magazine focused on the Australia/China business and trade relationship. In this role she worked closely with Austrade, the Australia China Business Council, the Australia-China Alumni Association and the Australian chambers of commerce in Shanghai, Beijing and Hong Kong.

Sophie holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Melbourne and a Graduate Diploma of Journalism from RMIT.
