Roy Green is Dean of the UTS Business School at the University of Technology Sydney. His doctorate is from the University of Cambridge and he has worked in universities, business and government in Australia and overseas, including a period as Dean at the National University of Ireland, Galway, and board member of Enterprise Ireland. Roy has published in the areas of innovation policy and management and undertaken projects with the OECD and European Commission. He is a Fellow of the RSA (Royal Society for the Encouragement of Arts, Manufactures and Commerce).
Roy chaired the Australian Government’s Innovative Regions Centre and CSIRO Manufacturing Sector Advisory Council, and he served on the Australian Prime Minister’s Manufacturing Taskforce. He led Australian participation in a global study of management and productivity and a recent Australian Business Deans Council initiative on the future of management education. He is currently chair of the Queensland Competition Authority and adviser to the Senate Innovation System inquiry.
