Dr. Pradeep Kumar Dadhich joined TERI in 1990, in the industrial energy division responsible for energy audits and analysis and later worked in the areas of energy policy and regulatory division.
Dr. Dadhich’s engineering experience and advanced knowledge of energy technologies are of great value in the areas of climate change and economics of mitigation. He has been associated with research for the Government of India’s National Energy Map: Technology Vision 2030 and the National Action Plan on Climate Change. He is currently working in energy security and climate change projects, including the Second National Communications for the energy sector and the ADB regional study on Energy and Climate Change. 
Dr. Dadhich is a member of the International Energy Agency’s Greenhouse Gas RD&D Executive Committee and has served on the Government of India’s Environmental Impact Assessment committee. He is also the member of Academic Council of TERI University.
Dr. Dadhich is currently the Head of the Centre for Policy and Regulatory Studies in TERI University, New Delhi. He also teaches economic and financial analysis of infrastructure projects and in Energy Systems Modelling and is a regular faculty for TERI’s training programmes for Indian Administrative Services and other organisations and participants across Asia.
Dr. Dadhich has B.Tech. (Andhra University) in chemical engineering, Ph.D (IIT Bombay) in Energy Systems Engineering and a Post Graduate diploma in management from the All India Management Association, New Delhi. Prior to joining TERI he worked as a process engineer in chemical and petrochemical plants.
