Michael Daffey is the Chairman of Bitcoin firm, Galaxy Digital. Previously he acted as Global Co-Chief Operating Officer of the Equities Franchise at Goldman Sachs. He is a member of the Management Committee, Securities Division Executive Committee, Firmwide Client and Business Standards Committee and the European Management Committee. He previously served on the Partnership Committee and the Business Standards Committee.
Since joining Goldman Sachs in 1994, Mr. Daffey has held a number of sales management roles across businesses and regions. Prior to assuming his current role, he was Global Head of Equities Sales and Head of Fixed Income and Foreign Exchange Sales for EMEA. He was named Managing Director in 2000 and Partner in 2002.
Mr. Daffey serves on the UK Trust Board of Trustees for The Global Fund for Children.
