John is co-head of EMEA Equities Sales at Goldman Sachs. He joined Goldman Sachs in 2000 as a vice president in the Asian Equities business, where he was a senior equity salesperson for four years before assuming management responsibility for the Pan-Asian team in 2005 and for all International Sales in 2006. John managed International Equities in the United States from 2007 to 2011 and prior to assuming his current role he was head of EMEA Equities One Delta Sales. He was named managing director in 2005 and partner in 2008.
Prior to joining the firm, John worked in the Equities Division of Ord Minnett in Australia from 1994 to 1997 and relocated with the company to the United States as a vice president, responsible for the sales/trading division.
John earned a BS in Economics from the University of Sydney in 1993.
