Jenny is in the final semester of a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Science at the University of Technology Sydney.
Her life goal is being a part of the new generation of scientists, aiming to better the living standards of human beings—with interest in the areas of cancer, children’s health and well-being.
As a child of parents with cancer, Jenny has a desire to increase her understanding of the disease through participation in research work. She wants to use her biomedical knowledge, together with her language skills, to raise awareness and boost knowledge within the developing Asian communities. She speaks and reads Cantonese, Mandarin, English and Vietnamese proficiently.
Jenny is a Sydney Medical School Summer Research Scholar, a City of Sydney International Student Ambassador, a Student Ambassador of UTS; INSEACH, and Connection Director of the Medical Biosciences Body of Students at UTS. She successful completed a Diploma of Science at UTS.
