Where is home in Australia?
Where is home overseas?
What's your current postcode?
Can you describe your adopted hometown in three words?
Food, Busy, Polluted
If I had 24 hours in your city, what are the absolute must-dos?
Visit a hutong, eat dumplings and drink Tsingtao beer, visit the silk and pearl markets.
What's the best piece of advice you have for someone moving overseas?
- Do not put furniture into storage - when you eventually move home your tastes will have changed!
- Don't spend extra on an apartment for a "spare room" for friends and family. Get a place you like and if they visit, they can get a hotel or sleep on the couch.
- Join every Facebook group you can for that country and ask as many questions as you think of.
What do you miss most about Australia?
- Woolies, I would love to buy food and recognise labels (living in China).
- Chicken parmy from pubs.
- Our beaches.
What’s a piece of gold from your new city that you will take home with you?
Don't take fresh air and drinkable water for granted.
