SF: The Promise of Personalized Health Management

This month Advance takes a look at Personalized Health Management (PHM), with a unique collaboration between swissnex San Francisco, the Consulates General of Canada and France and the Denmark Innovation Center.

For all the buzz surrounding Personalized Health Management, many are still unsure of exactly what the term (and practice) really means. What will this new era of health management bring? Is PHM the same as eHealth, or Medicine 2.0?

Personalized Health Management seeks to provide an objective basis for considering individual differences, but will it actually provide better health care?
