NYC: New York International Independent Film & Video Festival

As part of the New York International Independent Film and Video Festival, Advance invites you to a screening and Q&A of "Crooked Business", a recent film from the creative team behind "Gettin' Square" - Australia's most award nominated movie.

Crooked Business is a high quality, low-budget feature film directed by award winning writer, Chris Nyst. Described as Australia's John Grisham for his crime fiction novels with Harper Collins, Chris has been nominated for an AFI award for his first feature film script which won him the Lexus IF Award for Best Screenplay. Crooked Business is a rollicking comedy of errors, set against the backdrop of the Gold Coast's notoriously trashy (but always glitzy) underworld, full of "high class" crims.

After the screening Director Chris Nyst and Producer Scott Corfield will meet with the audience and hold a Question & Answer forum at the Cinema.
