ACYPI invites you to attend Start-Up Stories, a rare window into the journeys of some of Melbourne’s thriving entrepreneurial talent.
Join us for this start-up focused evening with four Melbourne based entrepreneurs who will share their journeys and the challenges they have faced along the way. Guest speakers include the Founder of Aromababy, Catherine Cervasio, the Founder of Content Cookie, Lisa Le, and the Co-Founders of Scroll and Poked, Sam Kothari and Justin Huang. Start-Up Stories will be followed by an opportunity for Q&A and the chance to network with our panellists and fellow members.

Sam decided to pursue his business ventures full time after a stint as a management consultant at A.T. Kearney. His former role saw him work across a number of industries with a clear focus on the financial services sector.
His business ventures have ranged from e-commerce start-ups to hospitality restaurants. With six years of experience in small business, Sam’s focus of late has been on Poked, a fast-growing hospitality business. His role has leveraged his consulting background and focused on driving the business’s strategy.
Justin has been running small businesses in various industries over the last six years. Interspered between his business ventures, he spent two years working as a tax specialist at PwC. His business ventures have been across a number of industries including e-commerce (Gameology), education and most recently, hospitality. As the

As the cofounder of Poked, Justin has been the driving force behind the business's growth and expansion, which has led to the setup of four stores across two states, with a further three stores under development.
Catherine Cervasio is a business woman with experience in the areas of natural personal care, baby skincare, international trade, marketing and branding, spanning two decades. She is most well known for developing Aromababy – the world’s first skincare brand to combine the use of natural and organic ingredients with neonatal research, creating a new category in retail in 1994.
Passionate about sharing the benefits of natural skincare and the power of ‘touch’, Catherine was a recent winner of the National HKABA Export Award and won both CIBE China (Most Popular Natural Brand) and TBPA China (Best Brand Experience in 2017).
Lisa is the Founder of Content Cookie, a holistic content development company. When she's not busy running her company or working at her day job in one of Australia's largest corporate organisations, she enjoys volunteering and running events.
Previously the Deputy Chair of Media and Marketing for Bully Zero Australia Foundation - Australia's fastest growing charity, Lisa is now a LMBDW Melbourne Ambassador - a global group with over 48k members aimed at connecting, empowering and motivating business savvy women over wine!
