NYC: Oprahfication

The New York Musical Theatre Festival (NYMF) is proud to present the work of Australian writers/composers Adam Lowe, Rachel Dunham, Shanon D. Whitelock  in it’s 2014 Festival. In 2011, Oprah closed the book on 25 years of dominating global television to focus on building her new empire, the Oprah Winfrey Network. It's not been going so well. Now, OPRAHFICATION brings her back with a one-off retrospective episode to celebrate those years and present to you the ultimate interview!

The laughs are constant. Oprah's journey through gospel, mo-town, doo-wop, rock ballads, love ballads, and lullabies is a celebration of all things ‘O’ from her earliest beginnings to her wildest dreams. You'll love it and join in. Dare you!

The New York Musical Theatre Festival (NYMF) is the largest annual musical theatre festival in the country. Each summer the Festival presents productions, concerts, readings and special events in the heart of New York City's Theatre District. NYMF exists as the preeminent launching pad for stylistically, thematically, and culturally diverse new musicals. Oprahfication will appear in NYMF 2014 on the following dates and times:
