On Saturday, January 26, fall in love with Australian-born trumpeter/composer Nadje Noordhuis at Culture Project in the East Village. Nadje will be celebrating the release of her long-awaited self-titled album, delivering a decade of tailoring every note with care and perfection. Combining cinematic sweep, transportive emotion and rich melodic grandeur, Noordhuis possesses one of the most unforgettably lyrical voices in modern music. The audience will be seduced with lush romanticism, elegant melodies and pulsating improvisation influenced by Irish folk, tango and film scores.
As a special addition to our evening, fellow Australian songstress Jo Lawry will be our highly anticipated opening act. Lawry is currently touring with the legendary, world-renowned musician Sting.

Brothers Marc and Steven Kaplan are music entrepreneurs and lifelong lovers of the arts. With Marc's background in music education and Steven's background in business, the two decided to combine their talents and interests to create Kaplan Music and Entertainment, an incubator for ideas known and unknown. The company's first venture is SubCulture, a performing arts and event space opening in 2013 in the subterranean space of the Culture Project Theater at 45 Bleecker St. in downtown Manhattan.
