Washington DC: ANZAC Day Dawn Service

Each year on the 25th of April, Australians & New Zealanders commemorate ANZAC (Australian & New Zealand Army Corps) Day to recognise the sacrifices that Australian & New Zealand soldiers, sailors, airmen & airwomen have made − not only in defending their country, but in upholding their nations’ longstanding commitment to peace & security.

To mark this special occasion for 2012, the Australian & New Zealand Embassies are co-hosting a program of events to which all are welcome. (This event is part of that official program of events).

The traditional ANZAC Day Dawn Service will be held at the Korean Veterans War Memorial on the National Mall in DC.
