SF: ANZAC Day Service & BBQ

Join the Australian and New Zealand communities in the Bay area at the annual ANZAC Day Service and BBQ on Saturday 23 April, 2011 at 11am.
ANZAC Day is officially observed by the people of Australia and New Zealand in remembering the first time the two young nations fought together in a major overseas war.
This historic event took place in Gallipoli on the Turkish Peninsular in 1915 and is commemorated by expatriates, as well as our countrymen at home, acknowledging the sacrifice made by so many then and in subsequent international conflicts.
