Cynthia is a final year combined Law and Commerce students from Macquarie University. Her key focal areas lie in incentive-based energy policy and the Australia-China strategic investment relationship.

She is currently an Analyst in KPMG’s Utilities Policy & Regulation team where she advises government, energy regulators and businesses on Australia’s energy policy framework in the face of Australia’s current energy transformation. She also has experience providing tax advice with respect to renewable greenfield acquisitions.

Currently volunteering in Environmental Justice Australia’s Climate and Justice division, Cynthia is interested in the intersection of private and public sector interests, including corporate disclosure of climate change risks and the use of fiscal incentives to promote investment into renewables and, more broadly, sustainable business practices.
