Lynette Wallworth is an Australian artist whose immersive video installations and film works reflect on the connections between people and the natural world. Recently described as "the most adventurous and ambitious artists of her generation" this natural-born nomad will change the way you look at the world around you.


Dr Alison Thompson OAM is a full time global humanitarian volunteer. She rollerbladed downtown to help as a first responder following the September 11 attacks in New York and she has been on the move ever since. For the last 16 years she has been wherever help is needed and her latest program involves bringing innovative origami designed solar lights to the Syrian refugees in Greece. To date she has personally delivered solar lights to over 65,000 refugees.


Neima Candy returned to her native Liberia after completing a Master of Public Health at the University of Newcastle and less than six months later Ebola broke out across the country. As the National Ebola Coordinator at the Liberian Red Cross she managed the US$25 million response budget and led 100 staff members, 2,850 volunteers, trained 150 burial volunteers and supervised 12 international health delegates to tackle the crisis. The result? Liberia was declared Ebola-free in May 2015.
