2018 Advance Awards Wrap Up
ANOTHER YEAR OF MAGNIFICENT CELEBRATION
Held on 18 October at the historic Sydney Town Hall, 12 high-achieving global Australians were celebrated at the 2018 Advance Awards. Their achievements are at the forefront of some of the most exciting, innovative industries and developments around the world.
ANNOUNCING THE OVERALL WINNER..
Life Sciences category winner and CEO of Synchron, Dr Thomas Oxley, was announced as the Overall Winner.
Dr Oxley is a vascular and interventional neurologist and world expert in endovascular bionics. His company's mission is to deliver safe neurotechnology that overcomes human limitations and enables growth. It is developing minimally-invasive technology for the safe and rapid implantation of miniaturised electronic medical devices with a broadband capability to help diagnose and treat a range of neurological disorders including speech deficit, paralysis, epilepsy, movement disorders and depression.
The 2018 Advance Awards are over, but the celebration of the marvelous global Australians continue.
