Michael Ware is Advance’s one and only member based in Iraq! Ware is the only westerner to have survived an al-Qaeda kidnap and is currently CNN’S international news correspondent. itnews.com.au - SpringSource, a software company founded by Australian open source entrepreneur Rod Johnson, has been acquired by virtualisation kingpins VMware in a transaction valued at over US$420 million (AU$505 million).

The Australian - When Sydneysider Amelia Lester penned a playful article for Harvard Magazine in May 2005 on the perils of finding a job in New York, she signed off with the following: "Amelia E. Lester '05, an English and American literature and language concentrator in Adams House, hopes a publishing job in New York City is forthcoming."
