2. Advance Emerging Leaders India Summit 
a Great Success
The Advance Emerging Leaders India Summit held in New Delhi on 3-4 May was a great success with many delegates and thought leaders travelling from across India and around the world to join the conversations and form recommendations on strengthening Australian-Indian bilateral relations. The Summit coincided with the Australian Trade Minister Simon Crean’s visit to India and High Commissioner Peter Varghese and Minister Crean hosted a reception to mark the opening of the Advance Summit.

The Financial Express - New Delhi: The largest global network of Australians and alumni abroad, ‘Advance’, on Tuesday launched its India Chapter, which is expected to provide opportunities to improve the Indo-Australian bilateral trade as well as advise both the governments to further strengthen ties.

Australian Times - The new multi-million dollar Australian branding concept ‘Unlimited Australia’ divides experts on the slogan’s merits and how Aussies should be marketed overseas.
The New York Times - The novelist Peter Carey, whose new book, “Parrot and Olivier in America,” came out last week, likes to call himself a Marshian, which is another way of saying he’s from Australia.
