Advance warmly bids farewell to the Hon John Olsen AO, the outgoing Australian Consul General to New York and his wife, Julie Olsen. Over the past six years, John Olsen grew the inaugural one-week, one-city G'Day LA in 2004 to the hugely successful multi-city, two-week G’day USA event in New York, San Francisco, Los Angeles and Houston. 2. Advance Asia 50 Summit - The Countdown is On!
  
The countdown is well and truly on until the Advance Asia 50 Summit in Shanghai on 30-31 March to "Forge New Partnerships for the Asian Century." Advance has confirmed the 50 established and emerging Australian leaders and alumni from Australia’s universities living and working in Asia, who will attend. [More...]
   
 
3. New Yorkers & Australians Raise over US$100,000 for Bushfire Relief
 
The Australian Consul General, the Hon. John Olsen announced that the Australian Bushfire Benefit held last Saturday raised over US$100,000 for the victims of the Victorian bushfire. The funds raised will be donated to the Australian Red Cross’ Victorian Bush Fire Relief Fund to assist those who have been devastated by the disaster. [More...]
 
4. Gill Hicks Named Australian Woman of the Year in the UK 2009 
 
Survivor of the London bombings and peace campaigner, Gill Hicks has won the coveted award of Australian Woman of the Year in the UK for 2009. The award, sponsored by Advance, Australian Business and Qantas was announced at Australia House in London to mark International Women’s Day. [More...]

6. Advance Announces Member Drive Winner!
