Born in Kenya, Mr Adam Salzer is an economist by education and practice, who has over sixteen years of experience in high level strategic HR consultancy and executive search throughout the Asia Pacific region.


Prior to establishing Salzer Consulting with Alexandra Hynes, Mr Salzer was Managing Director of another of his own companies – a management consultancy involved in a diverse range of industries including international investment banking, corporate advisory services, start-ups, telecommunications and media.


He has extensive experience in Greater China and much of the Asia region and was responsible for establishing the first joint venture between a Western HR company and a Chinese Government Ministry in the early 1990s.


Mr Salzer has been named as one of the Top Twenty Most Influential Australians in Asia by Business Review Weekly. He is also much in demand on the international conference circuit, delivering talks and papers on HR issues in Asia on subjects ranging from process re-engineering in joint ventures to retention and localisation policy and communications.


Mr Salzer was awarded a Bachelor of Economics from The Australian National University, Canberra and a Post Graduate Diploma of Directing from The University of New South Wales, Sydney, Australia.


Mr Salzer is now based in Hong Kong, married to Alexandra with a grown son, Kane.
