Kate Woods: Director
One of only a handful of Australians directing series television in the U.S., Kate has directed hundreds of hours of television in Australia, but is perhaps best known for her feature film, Looking for Alibrandi (2000), which won five Australian Film Industry awards and is among Australia’s Top 20 biggest box office films of all time. Kate is midway through an epic four-month Hollywood run which sees her directing back-to-back episodes of Without a Trace (CBS), Bones (Fox), Crossing Jordan (NBC) and Shark, the new legal drama starring James Woods.
Jenni Baird: Actor
After three years on Australia’s hit medical drama, All Saints, Jenni traveled to Los Angeles, and has been based here for the last two-and-a-half years. In that time she has shot three pilots in the US: Metropolis (Touchstone TV/ABC network), Global Frequency (Warner Bros/WB Network) and Conviction opposite Sally Field (for Warner Bros/CBS Network). Jenni recently shot an episode of Jerry Bruckheimer's new legal drama, Justice. She is repped by Michael Levine Management and ICM.
Matt Skrobalak: Director of Casting, Paramount TV
Matt Skrobalak joined CBS Paramount Network Television as Director, Casting, in 2005. Matt oversees casting activity on all CBS Paramount Network Television shows, including Without a Trace, CSI and NCIS. His job involves talent scouting and liaising between producers, casting directors and the networks. Before joining CBS Paramount, Matt started Skrobalak & Ross Casting, where he and his business partner specialized in casting independent films. Prior to running his own agency, Matt was a Casting Associate for Gary Zuckerbrod on Without a Trace (CBS). Matt started out as an assistant at Ulrich/Dawson/Kritzer Casting, where he worked on shows such as Hope & Faith (ABC) and Felicity (the WB). His casting resume also includes A Mighty Wind (Castle Rock Entertainment), and Curb Your Enthusiasm (HBO).
