FEATURING: Cameron Daddo
Since moving to the U.S to pursue his acting career Cameron Daddo has made numerous film and television appearances such as Aaron Spelling's Models Inc, FX:The Series, CSI, CSI Miami, The West Wing, Monk, She Spies, Anthrax, Zebra Lounge, Drive Time Murders, Big Mommas House 2, and David Lynch's 'Inland Empire'. His latest feature film, "Drifter," is currently in post-production, which he is also producing. He is also in pre-production on his next feature film, "Passengers," with Australian actress Jaqueline MacKenzie from the "4400." Another feature film, "Hacia La Oscuridad" ("Towards Darkness"), co-starring America Ferrara, is featured in the 2007 Tribeca Film Festival.
As a musician Daddo has played in bands 'The Nearly Smooth Guys' and Baby James. His solo debut album, "A Long Goodbye," that was released in 1992 and featured Keith Urban on back-up vocals and guitars, reached #2 on the Australian Country Music charts. He was named Vocalist of the Year at the Australian Country Music Awards. His latest music project is titled Daddo. He has also written an original one-man musical/play "House Devil, Street Angel."
He's currently hosting Mark Burnett's newest show 'Pirate Master' on CBS Tuesday nights at 10pm. www.daddo.com
Dannielle Gaha
Dannielle Gaha is simply an outstanding vocalist. A soulful artist with a beautiful sound, her voice has stretched into almost every niche of the entertainment world in a long and varied career. She has worked on albums with Joe Cocker, Tom Jones, Lulu, James Brown, Sting, Kylie Minogue, Marcia Hines, Eran James, Guy Sebastian, Darren Percival, Glen Shorrock, Rozalla, Gerry DeVaux and The Pet Shop Boys and has performed live with John Farnham, Ladysmith Black Mambazo, Renee Geyer, Rick Price, Doug Parkinson and for Jason Donovan's world tour. This year Dannielle is working on her new CD 'Chocolate For Holly'. www.danniellegaha.com
Andy Clockwise
Andy Kelly is known to many as Andy Clockwise. He is also known as a peerless songwriter, charismatic frontman and 'so talented it's almost unfair' (The Daily Telegraph). There are few debut long-players that can claim to be as ambitious, as thrilling and as unpredictable as Andy's 2005 release, Classic FM. Ostensibly a concept double-album with songs that stand up alone and together, it scored countless 4 and 5-star reviews, Triple J Feature Album of the Week, sold-out national tours (including a nationally-broadcast Annandale gig) and support slots with The Whitlams, INXS and Hugh Cornwall (The Stranglers). In 2006, the momentum from Classic FM took Andy across the Pacific. He was invited to take part in Mushroom Music Publishing's Writer's Block in New Zealand before heading to the US, where he wrote the music for and performed in a new Australian production as part of the New York Fringe Festival. www.andyclockwise.com
Tyrone Noonan
As co-singer and instrumentalist for multi-platinum selling Australian jazz/rock/pop combo George, Tyrone stood squarely at the apex of the music industry. He's released a #1 debut album, won an ARIA award, and performed sell-out tours of Australia, the UK, Scotland, Ireland and Japan. If a broad range of experience is a necessity for any singer/songwriter to draw on, then Tyrone Noonan kick-starts his solo career in an enviable position. Tyrone Noonan knows what it feels like to play in front of 1.8 billion people (the Opening Ceremony of the Rugby World Cup), and to support world-class artists as diverse as Macy Gray, Jewel and Tori Amos. www.tyronenoonan.com
Thanks to our supporters: Advance, Australian Government's Australian Music Office, APRA (Australian Performing Right Association), Australians In Film, American Australian Association, & AILA (Australians In L.A).
