Doing Business In France: Breakfast Seminar 1: Report
Budding entrepreneurs were treated to an overview of how to set up a company in France during the first in a series of Doing Business In France breakfasts.
Staged by boutique Paris business law-firm, Berthezene Nevouet Rivet, and conducted by one of the firm's partners, Julien Rivet, the first breakfast briefing attracted some 20 Advance members.
Monsieur Rivet used the session to introduce the different type of company statutes that exist in France, explaining the various advantages and conditions of each one - including the ease with which each type of company can be established and managed. In a wide-ranging, informative session, the classifications of the French legal system were systematically broken down.
Among the attendees, all of whom are Australians in France and many of whom are in the process of setting up their own business, the seminar was hailed as a great success.
The second in the Doing Business In France breakfast seminar will take place on Wednesday 29 April at Berthezene, Nevouet, Rivet.
